Winehouse’s Home Help For St. Lucia Local
» Posted on Dec 16 2009 by Dominique
contactmusic.com: Amy Winehouse is still close to the friends she made in St. Lucia – the British singer is helping one local in her bid to save her home from repossession. The Back to Black hitmaker spent eight months on the Caribbean island earlier this year in a bid to conquer her drink and drug addictions. And despite returning home to the U.K. over the summer, Winehouse is still in contact with the people she befriended – and is aiding beach trader Marjorie Lambert in her ongoing battle to keep her property.Lambert says, “Amy has given me continued support. The authorities would have kicked me out if it wasn’t for her.”
