metro.co.uk: The singer, who is rumoured to be back with her junkie lover, wants to scrap some of the songs because they are “anti” Blake. “Amy has written some of her best songs ever for this album but she now feels like they don’t belong,” a source told the Daily Star. “She’s not going to put out an album just because her record company wants her to, so it’s back to the drawing board.” Record bosses are reportedly thrilled with most of the tracks on the album, which is a follow up to 2006’s Back To Black.

monstersandcritics.com: Amy Winehouse’s fitness craze has extended to an exotic 16th-century martial art. The UK Sun newspaper reports the singer has taken up Capoeira, a historic Brazilian martial art that combines elements of the martial arts, music and dance. A source said: ‘Amy loves it because it’s good for strength and toning, and great for working up a sweat. It is also helping her focus.’ Winehouse, who earlier was said by her father, Mitch, to be hitting the treadmill like she used to hit the bottle, has adopted the sport that was created in Brazil by slaves brought from Africa.

WWD.com: Amy Winehouse is putting herself back on the map in fashion. The singer, 26, is launching a clothing collection in collaboration with British label Fred Perry, to make its debut in stores in October. “Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand,” said Richard Martin, Fred Perry’s marketing director, of the initial pursuit of Winehouse for the design gig. “Amy has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points.” Read more here.
